Compass Group (Schweiz) AG is active in corporate catering, event catering, guest services and hospitality services with the sector-specific brands Eurest, Scolarest, Medirest, Eurest Services, Rapport Guest Services and Compass Catering, as well as in catering planning, marketing and communication with Compass Consulting. As the first international provider of corporate catering, the Compass Group has made a global commitment to achieve a CO2-neutral carbon footprint in its operations and all supply chains by 2050, and Compass Group (Schweiz) AG already aims to operate climate-neutrally in its own operations (Scope 1 & 2) by 2030.

Goal 1

Core business

By 2030, we reduce total food waste by 50 % in all units pre and post consumer, compared to 2019 (fiscal year)*.

* Food waste measures (total of 405'632 l of food waste); remaining food waste is used to produce biogas.

By 2025, we increase the sold plant-based meals to 50 % of our annual menu planning*.

* Currently at 35 % plant-based meals on the annual planning.

By 2030, we reach the average of 40 % gender balance in our leadership positions*.

By 2030, we achieve net zero (Scope 1 & 2) in line with our tCO2eq target approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and cover the remaining Scope 3 by 2050*.

Umfang der Ziele

Compass Group operates in various markets around the world through a number of subsidiaries with clear operational and commercial boundaries. In Switzerland, the company is represented by Compass Group Schweiz AG. The pledges taken within the STI framework relate to the sustainability policy of Compass Group Schweiz AG. The latter is therefore accountable for their implementation within its scope of activity. Where these commitments directly reinforce the Group's sustainability strategy, a special mention is added in the wording.
