To create systemic change, we advocate for a new policy framework that recognizes and incentivizes sustainable companies in Switzerland. Therefore we launched a Manifesto for the Recognition of Sustainable Enterprises. We call on all Swiss decision-makers to support our initiative and sign the manifesto.

By 2023, we increase the proportion of revenue we generate from services that contribute to sustainability from its present level of around 1 % to 5 %*.
* Services that contribute to sustainability include translation services and language consultations on the subjects of inclusion, gender, non-violent communication, accessibility, ecology, migration or sustainability reporting.

By 2021, we assess and ensure that at least 90 % of freelancers we work with are treated fairly, that at least 75 % of freelancers we work with consider the rates they are paid to be fair or very fair, and that there is no gender-based disparity in pay*.
* In terms of workload, time pressure, appreciation and payment practices. According to an independent, anonymous survey.

Scope of Pledges:
Translingua AG operates in Switzerland with freelancers both at home and abroad. The pledges taken within the STI framework apply to the sustainability policy for all activities of Translingua AG in Switzerland and in the relevant countries of the freelancers in question. The company is therefore accountable for their implementation within the limits of its field of activity.
