To create systemic change, we advocate for a new policy framework that recognizes and incentivizes sustainable companies in Switzerland. Therefore we launched a Manifesto for the Recognition of Sustainable Enterprises. We call on all Swiss decision-makers to support our initiative and sign the manifesto.
Mimotec SA
Mimotec SA, a Swiss company with over 20 years' experience in the field of microtechnology and micromechanics, is a recognized specialist in Switzerland and abroad. Over 2,500 different items are manufactured in their workshops every year, from watchmaking microparts to plastic injection micromoulds, as well as anti-counterfeiting solutions (CLR-Liga). Based in Sion, Mimotec SA employs approximately fifty highly qualified employees.

Core business
By 2025, we reduce the average amount of energy consumed per part produced by 15% compared with 2021, representing a cumulative reduction of around 250,000 kWh at equivalent production*.
* The average amount of energy consumed for the production of parts represents 85 % of our overall energy footprint.
Goal 2
Internal operations
By 2026, we increase the well-being and satisfaction of all our employees in the workplace, compared with 2023, and achieve Great Place To Work® certification with a minimum score of 80 %.
Goal 3
Internal operations
By 2027, we adapt the ergonomics of all workstations for all our employees, compared to 70 % in 2022, in order to improve their well-being and preserve their health.

Scope of Pledges:
Mimotec SA operates in Switzerland. The pledges taken within the STI framework relate to the sustainability policy applying to all Mimotec SA operations carried out in Switzerland. The company is therefore accountable for their implementation within the limits of its scope of activity.
