Sign our Manifesto for the recognition of Sustainable Enterprises!

To create systemic change, we advocate for a new policy framework that recognizes and incentivizes sustainable companies in Switzerland. Therefore we launched a Manifesto for the Recognition of Sustainable Enterprises. We call on all Swiss decision-makers to support our initiative and sign the manifesto.

Goal 1
Core business
By 2028, we strengthen privacy protection by integrating our vein recognition technology for all our customers, and donate 1 % of our annual turnover to labor integration associatons*.
* Including public and associative sector clients such as ministries, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, NGOs for the protection of endangered targets like Mercy Ships or the IFRC, the health sector etc.
Goal 2
Core business
By 2030, we ensure the recycling and recyclability of 100 % of our VenoScanners through returns and refurbishing*.
* Representing 90 % of the material volume of our products, going from 0 to 100 % of recycled plastic, with the long-term goal of replacing it with bio-based materials according to Product Life Cycle Analysis.

Supply chain
By 2023, 80 % of our main suppliers meet our sustainable procurement objectives*.
* Annual audit in the form of a questionnaire and on-site visit for each supplier who has signed the charter according to environmental and social criteria.
Goal 4
Internal operations
By 2022, we achieve equal pay for all employees.
Goal 5
Internal operations
By 2024, we ensure a better gender balance in our company with a minimum of 30 % women in all of our positions, with a target of parity by 2030*.
* Compared to 16 % in 2022.

Scope of Pledges:
Global ID SA operates in Switzerland and in various markets around the world through a number of subsidiaries with clear operational and commercial boundaries. The company is represented by Global ID SA. The commitments made within the framework of the STI programme apply to the sustainability policy for all the activities of Global ID SA. The company is therefore accountable for their implementation within the limits of its field of activity.
